WHO WE ARE
Hello, my name is Tayli Walters, and I am the face behind Fancy GSD’s. At Fancy GSD’s we strive to not only bring families their new furry family member but also to produce happy, healthy and sound German Shepherds.
MY GOAL:
My goal at Fancy GSD’s is to not just produce puppies but to produce a quality you can see in your puppy and for generations to come. For those things to happen, I focus on more than just the basic breed standard health testing. While breed standard health testing for German Shepherds is just their hips, elbows and a DM test, I also do Hip and elbow prelims, OFA Dentition, OFA Basic Cardiac, OFA Patella and a full DNA panel by Embark to ensure I am producing healthy puppies. I will also be doing OFA Eyes and OFA Thyroid with everyone this year to get their GSCDA Health award of Merit! I will also be doing their GSDCA temperament testing this year with hopefully everyone so I can get their OFA Chic #’s. This will prove I am producing sound German Shepherd puppies!
I also must focus on proving my dogs. While my dogs only have basic AKC titles for now, I am moving into bigger and better things. I will be focusing on getting more titles like CGC’s, TKN, VHMA, RAT, Farm Dog to prove stability and confidence, and hopefully doing some show work as well with AKC and UKC. On top of those I will also be doing Fast Cat, Dock Diving and UKC Pulling. While neither of those prove my dogs, it is something fun to do with them and can show case what my dogs can do.
MY PROMISE:
My promise at Fancy GSD’s is to always do my absolute best and continue my education whether that be about German shepherds, genetics, sports, titles, health and overall growth within my program. I want to make sure I am keeping up to date with any new testing, any new issues or any new studies with German Shepherds.
I also promise to provide my knowledge to every family so that they can raise a happy, healthy and well-behaved German shepherd puppy. I promise to always be here for families no matter what, for the life of their German shepherd puppy and thereafter.
While nobody’s program is perfect, I am doing my absolute best to be! I hope to meet every one of you personally and bring you your new family member!
